The energy of a group can add richness and diversity to learning. The opportunity to share with others in a safe, supportive environment can deepen both your discoveries and those of others. With this in mind, One Caring Adult™ has created both formal and informal opportunities for peer interaction.
Resource Groups
Offered each month at a set time and location, resource goups provide educators the opportunity to network with peers who are experiencing similar challenges. Groups are developed around a specific theme, and provide support and brainstorming power! Interaction is a bit more informal than in Group Coaching - think mini "Open Space" conferencing. Minor fee to cover costs of refreshments.
Groups scheduled to begin include School Climate and Differentiated Learning / Effective Teaching Strategies in the Fall of 2010.
Workshops
Open enrollment workshops provide an opportunity to both add to your skill set and expand your peer group. While most of our work focuses on building community in your community setting, there are times when outside experiences and interactions provide a much needed perspective and invaluable opportunities to look at life outside of your "corner of the forest"! Group Coaching
Looking for more than a resource group has to offer? Group Coaching is designed for educators looking for an intensive, focused peer group. Limited to 8 members, each group provides a challenging, supportive atmosphere that encourages creative problem-solving and high-level growth. Groups are coordinated by an experienced coach. Members pay a fee to participate and must commit to attending every session.
Group Coaching group for Differentiated Learning / Effective Teaching is scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2010.
